Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who would become Comaneci's coach later on she discovered her when she was six. Comaneci competed for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. The following year she was crowned champion. She took home three golds at her debut competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by the communist bloc nations. Between 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. When she competed for the first time at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva of Russia won five gold medals aswell with one silver. She was the first woman to perform the reverse double salo of the uneven parallel bar when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry in her teens. She began her career when she joined her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling show of entertainment. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
